After conducting a consultation with a client this morning, we thought it would be a great idea to do a knowledge drop on the art of shaving. The issue revolved around ingrown hairs which is very common during the shaving process. This occurs when you shave against the direction in which the hair grows. Consequently the hair continues to grow back as usual but becomes trapped underneath the surface. There is nowhere for the hair to go as it continues to grow and irritation follows.
